I had ran a IEC cable through my wall for my old wall mount tv. I bought a new Samsung and it used the "figure 8" type plug. I didn't want to rewire so I found this adapter and thought "it's worth a shot". Glad I did because it works perfectly and saved me a lot of time.

A must have for international travel. A lot of times you can find cords for the 3 pronged end wherever there is tech in whatever standard the country uses, and you just plug the 2 pronged end into your laptop charger. Use mine with 2012 Macbook Pro all the time

Actually this appears to be better quality than I expected for this price. Haven't had a chance to install it, so I can't say how tight the connections are or comment on long-term durability.

Worked perfectly. When changing the TV on the kitchen wall, I discovered that the embedded power supply cable was a kettle lead and the new TV was a figure of 8. This was the simple way to replace the connector rather than rip out the cable.

Perfect way to avoid having to splice the cable on my new TV to match the old one.

Had convert the kettle type lead to this for my new TV. All the wires are embedded in the wall, so it was either remove the old cable, buy a new 3 metre one that terminated as the smaller type and try to work it through the space through the skirting and into the fireplace wall. This converter cable solved all these issues. Works perfectly well and seems safe and sturdy too.

Well maybe it didn't save any lives but it did save us money and time. Our old tv was wired through the wall and the new replacement one had a figure 8 fitting not kettle end. This little gadget solved all our issues.

Nice little lead that does exactly what I want. Using it to convert a female power plug supply my employer has installed on their desks for a desktop pc to a Surface Pro power supply. At just £2.86 it was a no-brainer, and is making my life so much easier.
