McAfee 2018 AntiVirus - 1 PC [Old Version]

Working perfectly on my new laptop. Much better priced than you would pay at a store. Had a bit of a problem installing, but contacted the company and they were more then happy to help me. I'm glad I purchased The McAfee Anti Virus through Amazon.

Too bad there isn't a zero star option. I purchased this McAfee AntiVirus  McAfee 2018 AntiVirus - 1 PC  for my 91 year old mother that lives 2000 miles away from me in an assisted living home. I ordered this program with the feeling it was a CD. After all it took three weeks for delivery and if it was a downloadable copy it could of been handled with a simple email and passcode. My moms assisted living facility has a joint web access shared by many thus no down load speed, bandwidth and no trained or knowledgable person to help with installation so I must have a CD which my mom knows how to use. Instead she got a piece of printed card board saying, "step 1..., step 2...., and step 3. Step two says input a 25 character code (included with this 3 week delivered package) that after numerous times it would not accept. Bottom line what every your paying for this package is three times too much.

Was hoping it would find "Malware", only fines virus only.

I got just what I wanted - no renewal and no hassles! Yay! It's a shame that no one sends out CDs anymore!

I couldn't download it when it arrived so I called McAfee. They said my laptop was being hacked by someone in Japan and talked me into paying almost $250.00 for extra protection as well as McAfee for life. This was in addition to what I originally paid for it. Sounds good, but it's not as good as Norton was. I don't get warnings when I am in a dangerous site. I think it was a an expensive mistake on my part.

It was installed on the Dell 2-in-1's that I purchased for school and they worked well. I didn't have any issues. I'm just renewing that protection on them.

McAfee anti virus was a total bust. It was a download version and wouldn’t download so I called the help number listed. The person that answered clearly didn’t have great command of the English language informed me my computer was infected with viruses and it would cost me $300 to fix. I refused and received a refund. I purchased another anti virus not McAfee and everything works well.

We've found McAfee's antivirus software effective protection from viruses, and it is very easy to install. A simple download, follow the instructions, and you're done. Easy-peasy.

When you try to activate this product . it directs you to a McAfee phone number. They then tell you, they will be unable to activate it, unless you buy a yearly or 3 yr plan with a monthly cost.... Run from this company...I want my shipping costs refunded... it cost me $13.95 to ship it back to the U.S. from Canada. Please reimburse my shipping cost as well.
