Description

The Alubutyl ABX has an extremely strong surface adhesion (self-adhesive) and is odourless. The stickiness and noise insulation surpasses all comparable products due to the material mix and the high weight of approx. 3.4 kg/m². The edge does not stick because the silicone paper overlaps. The two ends are also protected from sticking. Our aluminium + butyl strength ratio has proven to be optimal. The processing is possible from 5 °C. The effective sound absorption is based on the soft mass, which absorbs kinetic energy and converts into heat. The aluminium foil stabilises the soft mass on the surface, but does not damp. With the optimal width of 40 cm, even large holes are airtight. For extreme cases, 2 films can also be glued on top of each other. The 4 m² is sufficient for 4 car doors and usually for smaller rattling areas. Please wear work gloves as the hard film is very sharp. For high-quality complete insulation, we recommend a combination with RECKHORN DV-10 insulation fleece. Technical data per roll: Product name: 2 x ABX. Price = 18.225 / m².
