Best Value and Great Sound!
Having had several Guitar Amps already, I was not that happy with a Blackstar that I paid £90 for. Saw a poor review of this on YouTube but the Amp sounded good. So, for £50 took a chance. Not at all disappointed! Fab.* This is an Electro-Acoustic Guitar Amp. You don't get the effects like Distortion or other Electric Guitar effects.* If you like the pure sound of your guitar, Electro-Acoustic or Electric, then this little Amp is "bell-like" in reproductive tone.* It has a Chorus Effect: meaning that when you press Chorus, the Amp copies and plays the signal a fraction of a second later, making it sound like two guitars playing together but slightly out of sync. This gives you a "dreamy" sound. If you increase the "speed" of the Chorus, you get a really "trippy" sound reminiscent of the late 60's Psychedelic Rock and Pop sounds!* The cabinet is well made, looks very smart, nice quality fabric for the speaker cloth and nice leatherette brown cover with gold metal fittings.* The sound is powerful: most Practice Amps are only 10 Watt, this is 15 Watt. Top slanted for better sound projection.* 6.4" Celestion Speaker. Very clear. Good sound.* Earphone Jack (1/4") so you can practice without anyone else hearing your noise.. er, sorry.. music!* Fantastic value for money.Note: If you want a slightly more powerful 25 Watt with a Microphone socket, then this one's Big Brother is ideal. Redwood AC-25.

Superb little thing
Brilliant little amp. I cannot comment much on how good it sounds compared to higher end amps as this is the first amp I have had to purchase since I play an acoustic but just recently got myself a loop pedal and needed something only for the sole purpose of being able to hear what I had to loop.It keeps the tone of my instrument (a Martin LX1E) very well and sounds more or less how I’d want it to/how it should. The equaliser built in does it’s job well, and I haven’t played about too much with the chorus but that seems solid too.I’ve turned it up to full volume and there was a fair bit of distortion but I doubt I’m ever going to need it that high for just practicing and if I ever went gigging then I don’t see the distortion being too obtrusive in a more open space where you’re less likely to notice. The build quality is superb - one of the best looking amps I have seen at the price - with all the dials for volume, EQ and Chorus having an almost premium feel to them so to speak. They won’t change if lightly knocked or tapped is what I’m trying to say.Only complaint is there being no reverb as that’s a separate pedal I might have to invest in as everything sounds quite dry without it.

Great value - good quality
Any review of this amp must be made considering its price first off. I paid £39 with free delivery so that’s a pretty amazing price. The unit has a smart retro look and the covering and grill do not reflect the price point, it looks really good. The unit is heavy for its size but not too heavy to move around and the corners are metal bound. It’s a well made unit. Controls are simple and well laid out. Good volume from the 15W amp, I use it in a 23 x 16 ft room and it’s more than adequate. Sound quality and Chorus is very good. I would be happy with this unit at a higher price point. Slightly short power cable and a bit of a hum at higher volume levels. No mic input, not an issue for me. Otherwise excellent.

Well how glad am i that with my pioneering spirit and cavalier ...
Firstly, i took a slight risk with this product as there were no reviews to go on ! but i thought someone has to be first ! ME. Well how glad am i that with my pioneering spirit and cavalier attitude i have come up trumps with my "super duper" new retro looking amp. in a word AWESOME i am so pleased i have a big smile on my face as i write this review !. It is also fabulous to look at with a bit of a 60s look about it [warm and dependable] with a very rich round sound. So i am happy to whole-heartily recommend this fabulous amp. FEELING GOOD ! The only negative niggle is how it arrived !! bang on time, but with no protection whatsoever !! just a thin cardboard box for my beautiful new amp !! oh well it got hear in one piece !!

Serviceable
Ok for a practice amp but I was getting a lot of feedback and crackle even at mid volumes with my fender cd 60 be (good quality electro acoustic).Spend the bit extra on a better quality Amp.
