Good product
Great product overall! It arrived on time, was packaged well, and matched the description perfectly. The quality feels solid, easy to use, and works as expected. Iโm very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable product.

Good product, plants love it.
Iโm trying to end my love/hate relationship with rockwool. I heard good things from a friend and decided to try this coir. The bocks are very convenient but didnโt expand as much as I thought and was finer cut/grind than I expected. I use it with hydroponic drip system 75/25 with perlite. That mix has worked out very well. I had to add screens to the pump and drain because bits of coir washed out of the pots, especially at first. At this point it works fine, now that the initial washout is over and screens are in place. I probably will go with a different medium for drip systems because of the washout mess, but would happily use it other types of hydroponics or aeroponics as a starter medium. Even though some of what I wrote seems negative, any issues were a result of my lack of understanding about the product. I went in hoping for something like rockwool, but safe and compostable. Coir is not that. I will happily use it again for some applications now that I know what to expect from the coir bricks. I donโt have enough experience with coir to recommend it vs other brands of coir. All I can say is my plants are thriving.

Dense, vacuum packed, but you need to mix with Soil.
I was pretty rookie about house plant soil one year ago but I'm learning. One key thing: Don't create a soil that's too wet ! So this Coco retains water real well so you should mix it with tropical potting soil or normal type. If you use normal then for sure mix in some SAND or Perlite to allow drying/draining to occur... Or have a pot with lots of holes ! I bought two snake plants, now have 4/5 as they reproduce. Pretty, robust plant and lots of oxygen made ! The coco LOOKS SMALL, lightweight but it's very compacted (vacuum bag!) and you don't need lots to make soil (so good price)

Amazing Quality โ A Must-Have for Gardeners!
I was really impressed with the quality of this Cococoir. It arrived clean with no unwanted dust particles and absolutely no unpleasant smellโjust a natural, earthy coconut husk scent, which I really liked. It expands about 2.5 times its original size when hydrated, which makes it super efficient and easy to store. The texture is perfect for improving aeration and drainage, which has made a big difference in the health of my plants. Plus, its water retention is incredibleโholds up to 10 times its weight in water! If youโre into gardening or need a reliable growing medium, this is definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!

DOES NOT EXPAND AS ADVERTISED!!!
DOES NOT EXPAND AS ADVERTISED. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DOES NOT HOLD ONTO WATER! LEAKS LIKE CRAZY! DO NOT USE IN GROW BAGS! YOU'LL BE STUCK WATERING MORE OFTEN AND IF YOU USE SEAL CONTAINER, YOU'LL GET WATERLOG WITH ROOT ROT.

False Representation
The material seems decent enough, but the claim of โ2.25 gallons per brickโ is ridiculous. High quality bricks donโt even get more than 7 or 8 quarts. These? I added the recommended amount of water, made sure the brick was broken up, waited about an hour, and for two whole bricks, the water-logged coco barely came out to 6 quarts. Donโt waste your money.

Misleading on amount!
Misleading information! One brick expands to 1.5 gal, not 2.25 like the ad states. The product is nice, but I feel the company should not mislead us and put enough coco core in the packaging to make a true 2.5 amount that we are paying for.

Hydrate. great.
This works really well once you hydrate it properly. It expands a lot and holds moisture nicely, which is exactly what I was looking for. I did rinse it before using just to be safe, but overall itโs clean and easy to work with. Much less messy than traditional soil. Iโd definitely use this again, especially for indoor growing setups.

Great
This stuff is awesome! You get so much for such a low price. I used it to plant seeds, and also put a couple bricks in my composter. Very pleased with this

Great to grow cat grass.
Convenient growing media. It comes as described... a compressed brick, I used my hands to break off just enough for my needs and a it does expand when watered, but not as much as peat. I use it to top off soil for tropical plants and to grow cat grass. Does both well, especially for cat grass.
